DEBONDING STRIPS

AKAR Compressible Debonding Strips are closed cell PE Foam with one side adhesion with heat resistant release paper.

Compressible Debonding strips are used to impart shape and increase the bonding area of sealant to side surface.

In the construction of Concrete Roads, Runways, Bridges, Buildings etc involving the casting of concrete slabs, provision must be made to accommodate the Expansion and the contraction which occurs with seasonal variations in temperature. It is of up most importance to use correct joint filling and sealant to preserve the life and evenness of the surface. We proudly offer high quality two types of ‘AKAR’ Expansion Joint Filler Boards.

‘AKAR’ HD POLYETHELYNE FOAM JOINT FILLER BOARDS are closed cell, Semi rigid, UV resistant, Non absorbent,Rot proof and durable. BACKUP ROD (EPE FOAM ROD)

‘AKAR’ EPE FOAM RODS are used to give backup to sealants. The side adhesion surface area also increases.

The Technical Features are as flwg. Very low comp. Set (less than 4% at 10% deformation. No swelling or shrinking & water resistance. Chemical resistance so no corrosion. All whether proof.
